Lauren is a School Physiotherapist at Meliora Medical and an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist, with a longstanding specialist interest in working with children and young athletes. Her work also includes supporting young musicians.
She has more than a decade of experience providing physiotherapy within independent schools, including Merchant Taylors’ School and Wells Cathedral School. Her work has encompassed injury assessment, rehabilitation, injury prevention and pitch-side care. She previously spent five years working part-time with Watford FC Academy and also gained cricket experience with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
Lauren’s wider clinical background includes nine years in the NHS in Hertfordshire, including seven years in outpatient physiotherapy with a paediatric musculoskeletal interest, as well as work in private practice with Central Somerset Physiotherapy.
She trained at the University of Nottingham, practises acupuncture, is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Outside work, Lauren enjoys playing the piano, keeping active and spending time with her two daughters.
