Tom trained at the University of Birmingham medical school, during that time also completing a BSc in Medical Ethics and Law at King’s University London. He worked in Hertfordshire during his early junior doctor years, before moving to North London where he qualified as a GP.
Tom is the team doctor for Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and Harlequins FC Senior Women’s teams. With additional roles as a doctor for Great Britian Hockey and England Rugby. Tom completed a Masters in Sports & Exercise Medicine via the University of Bath, undertaking research into the impact growth and maturation has on adolescent sports injuries. He is also a member of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK.
Tom is an avid sportsman, self-described as a “jack of all trades, master of none”, with his interest in sports medicine enabling him to combine his work and passion.
