Rich works a a specialty doctor in Rheumatology and Acute Medicine in Manchester with a particular interest in Sports and musculoskeletal medicine.
In addition to his work his head injury & concussion work with Return2Play, he works with Premiership Rugby as an independent match day doctor. This role entails video analysis to identify potential concussions and delivery of appropriate assessments during the match to ensure player safety.
Rich graduated from Hull York Medical School in 2014 with an additional degree in Biomedical sciences. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine and has qualifications in advanced life support and pitch-side care.
