Jim currently works at Brighton and Hove Albion FC as first team doctor, having previously worked at Manchester United and Liverpool. He also works at the Institute of Sports, Exercise and Health in London where he sees patients with a wide variety of sports injuries.
He has extensive experience of managing concussion in children and adults in elite and community settings mainly in football and rugby league, having also completed 5 seasons with Hull KIngston Rovers in the super league.
