Anna is qualified as a GP but has worked extensively in emergency medicine and Pre-hospital emergency medicine including helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS). She currently works for Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and East Midlands Ambulance Service and teaches medical students at Lincoln University.
Her interest in sports medicine developed organically, beginning with her work as a crowd doctor at football and rugby clubs, where she provided medical care during matches. This role, coupled with her son’s love for football, sparked a deeper passion for sports medicine. To formalize her expertise, Anna pursued and successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of South Wales, further equipping her with the knowledge and skills to work in the field
Anna is currently the team doctor for both Sheffield United Women’s 1st Team and Chinnor Rugby Football Club 1st Team.
