R2P System User Guide

Logging in for the First Time

  1. Head to www.r2psystem.melioramedicalgroup.co.uk.
  2. Select the ‘Forgot password‘ button to be emailed a password.
  3. Enter email address as username and the newly received password.
  4. When prompted to do so, set a new password. This should contain an upper case letter, lower case letter and be more than eight characters long.

Adding a New Injury: Concussion

This video demonstrates how to record a concussion.

  1. Select the ‘Players’ tab from the left-hand menu bar
  2. Search for and select the injured players name
  3. Check and review the injured player’s injury history
  4. Select ‘Add a New Injury’ from the top-right hand corner
  5. Complete the injury report form, ensuring to select the ‘Injury Type’ as “other” and entering thorough case notes where possible
  6. Select ‘Save and Finish’ from the bottom right hand corner of the Summary page

Adding a New Injury: Non-Concussion

This video demonstrates how to record an injury. There is a separate video above for recording concussions specifically.

  1. Select the ‘Players’ tab from the left-hand menu bar
  2. Search for and select the injured players name
  3. Check and review the injured player’s injury history
  4. Select ‘Add a New Injury’ from the top-right hand corner
  5. Complete the injury report form, ensuring to select the ‘Injury Type’ as “concussion” and entering thorough case notes where possible
  6. Select ‘Save and Finish’ from the bottom right hand corner of the Summary page

This video demonstrates how to view the details of an injury, add injury notes and check for booked appointments.

  1. Select the ‘Players’ tab from the left-hand menu bar
  2. Search for and select the injured players name
  3. Select ‘View Injury Details’
  4. Select ‘Add Injury Note’ to add a new note

Editing an Injury Status

This video demonstrates how to edit the status of an injury to one of your players.

  1. Select the ‘Players’ tab from the left-hand menu bar
  2. Search for and select the injured players name
  3. Select ‘View Injury Details’
  4. Select the ‘Edit Playing Status’ button in the top right corner
  5. Choose the new playing status and enter a case note explaining why you are changing the injury status
  6. Select Save

Booking a Doctors Appointment

This video demonstrates how to book an appointment with Return2Play’s doctors on behalf of a player with a concussion.

  1. Select the ‘Players’ tab from the left-hand menu bar
  2. Search for and select the injured players name
  3. Select ‘View Injury Details’
  4. Scroll down to the Appointment table
  5. Select the appropriate appointment button
  6. Choose the most suitable appointment and select ‘Book’
  7. Select ‘Book’ in the pop-up that appears
  8. Email confirmation containing the appointment link will be sent to player and parents

Viewing and Editing GRTP Tags

This video demonstrates how to view and edit Graduated-Return-To-Play (GRTP) tags.

  1. Select the ‘Players’ tab from the left-hand menu bar
  2. Search for the injured players name. Their GRTP tag will be shown in the ‘tags’ column
  3. To edit the tag, select the player’s name
  4. Select ‘General Info’
  5. Select ‘Edit Player’
  6. Scroll down to the tags field and search for the new tag
  7. Select the new tag and remove the existing tag
  8. Select ‘Save’
